Some things I'm into right now.

When Mass Appeal mag was around they always had a section called 'How I get down' where some celebrities just talked about things they were into at the time. I always thought that was the best idea because everybody gets into things for a short period of time and its important to be able to talk about it during that short time. So now I'll talk about some things I'm into right now:

1. Alabama
Thanks to Yelawolf, Alabama is the new East LA on my fantasy place list. Often when I need a distraction for a bit, I check out the geography departments in other places where I might like to live. I found out Alabama University has an Institute of Place Names. For real. Having said that though, in my head, Alabama is like this:

and not this:

2. Jim Beam
Also because of Yelawolf, I drink Jim Beam now.
With water.
3. Justin TV
Justin TV is the closest thing to real TV on the internet. you don't have to download it and you don't have to sift through a bunch of garbage to find a show and then wait for it to load. Also, on the downside there are commercials and you have to jump in wherever it is.
But sometimes, on a good night, there will just be a Bill Murray channel....just like that. Manjit introduced me to this because she watches the Office on it. I had thought I'd saw every episode of the Office...and I was right. And now I've seen them all at least twice. you can find it here.

4. Michael Rapaport
If you know me at all, you will know he is my number one celebrity crush. In everything he's done except his sitcom. Once for christmas my mom got me Zebrahead. It was high ranking on best presents ever but then Mitch Friesen broke it. So screw that guy.

5. Collage
Like anyone who ever spent time as a 12 year old girl, I'm pretty familiar with the art of cutting and glueing. You always learn collage in a class or workshop about expressing your feelings or empowering yourself, but generally we hold on to it because its convenient for those of us with arty ideas and no drawing ability. When you grow up you call it "mixed media" and add some paint or ink, but its pretty much the same thing.

6. East LA
Since I mentioned Rapaport, I thought I should mention the other constant love in my life. Like Alabama, my idea of what its like in East LA is solely based on movies and some artists I like. Once someone told me girls wear strappy heels with track pants there. I couldn't decide if I liked that or not, but the whole thing made me worried maybe it wouldn't be how I picture it. So I'm pretty sure I can't ever go there.

Thats it cool guy.
