st. catherines

we took the metro to st.catherines today.

we walked from the berri-UQAM stop to the lionel-groux stop and back. it took us about five hours. kendra-style walking and an hour in H & M helped.

i bought a new hat that im pretty sure changed my life.

we stopped for tacos and got to sit down for a half hour and delete bad pictures of ourselves off of each others cameras.

we headed back up st. catherines to a shop called Off The wall that was the montreal counter part to TUB - they were having an album release for a local rapper called narcylepsy? something like that. we happened to pick up a flyer for it. there was a short film too. it had jokes. the drinks were free. we found a bunch of winnipeg counterparts.

the space the party was in was a gallery on the third floor and the shop was on the second. talked to a dude who works there - they've done cool stuff like a "pop up shop" that features new lines or niche markets just over a months time.

also, alysha was wearing the same outfit as another girl there. i wish i could put the picture up.
by the way - i can't put pictures up because my card doesn't fit in our baby computer.

we left around ten and walked back to berri-UQAM, two stops till home.

tonight - with the people, the lights, the fresh air - alysha said she felt like she could live anywhere in the world if she wanted. i agreed.
