First sunny day in a while, plan to stick around the east village for the day, hopefully do some laundry.
Seeing the Rub tonight at Southpaw in Brooklyn. Love when they come through Winnipeg, excited to see them on their turf.
Thursday we pretty much did a shopping tour of H&M - embarrassing but fruitful. covered a lot of 5th and some stores Alysha was pumped on but i've never heard of - she is both fashionista and nutritionista. she packs mad snacks.
I've been sick and Alysha's coming down with it - I swined her - so we took it easy thursday night.
Friday it was pouring when we got up so we headed to the museum of natural history - it was exactly like the movie, everything was coming alive magically and stuff. our guide book said it was open till 8:45 on fridays so we thought we had lots of time. that was a lie. we only saw the first floor. it took three hours.
there was a whole exibit on north american forests and it made me want to do a camping tour of the states. how incredible would that be....mom? dad? emily? jenna? takers?
Friday night we headed to Greenwich village because we heard Amanda Blank was playing - it was true, and dude from Spankrock magically showed up too. the show was so high energy and rad - short set but we were so close and then venue was small so it ruled. man....new york. its just like this here.
